Carpet on Stairs and Upstairs Landing in Irving, TX

The job

We installed light gray speckled carpet in a home in Irving, TX: the full staircase, the upstairs landing, and the rooms that open off the landing. One carpet runs through all of it, so the second floor reads as one continuous space.

Stairs

Each step is carpeted on its own, with the carpet wrapped tightly over the tread, the nosing, and the riser. The flight is open on one side with white balusters and a wood newel post, so the carpet is cut cleanly along every baluster. At the bottom step, the carpet meets the light wood-look floor of the first level.
